Connecticut Real Estate Continuing Education Courses
What is Required?
Brokers and Salespersons need to complete 12 hours of continuing education before the 2011 renewal deadline: For brokers the renewal deadline is March 31, 2011; For salespersons the renewal deadline is May 31, 2011.
Of the 12 hours of continuing education required, six (6) hours are elective courses and six (6) are mandatory. Cooke Real Estate School has all the courses required for license renewal.
These courses meet the minimum requirements as set forth by the Department of Consumer Protection/Real Estate Commission.
Connecticut does NOT require a final exam for continuing education. Courses include comprehension quizzes with a 90% pass rate. Quizzes may be repeated as necessary to attain the pass rate.
Procedure upon course completion:
When you finish the course please do the following:
E-mail the school at Info@CookeSchool.com and let us know you completed the course
Complete the following form and fax the following form into school. AFFIDAVIT
The school will notify the state digitally and will mail a completion certificate to the student. (Please allow 10 days to receive the certificate.

After you have enrolled, if you have questions relating to the course material, a licensed real estate instructor will be available for questions Monday through Friday between 9:00 A.M. EST and 5:00 P.M. EST.
We encourage students to e-mail the instructor with questions regarding the On-Line course at instructors@cookeschool.com. With an e-mail to the instructor, the student will have a written document of the response.
For questions by e-mail, there is a 24 Hour response time Monday through Friday, E-mails over Saturday, Sunday or a legal holiday will be returned the first business day.
